Strumento Handtooled Derby – Black
Artisan Craftsmanship with Timeless Character
The Strumento Handtooled Derby in Black is a striking example of traditional shoemaking artistry. Featuring intricate floral hand-tooled embossing, the leather showcases a distinctive texture that elevates this classic Derby silhouette into a true statement piece.
Crafted from premium full-grain Argentinian leather, every pair reflects meticulous hand-finishing and enduring craftsmanship. The shoe is built on a handmade Argentinian leather sole with a stacked heel, complemented by a rubber forepart for added traction and stability.
Inside, the shoe is lined with luxuriously soft French sheepskin, which naturally absorbs moisture to keep your feet comfortable throughout the day while enhancing long-term wearability.
Designed on an ergonomic last, the Strumento Derby provides excellent support and durability. After an initial two-week break-in period, the leather gradually molds to the shape of your feet, becoming softer and more supple with every wear for a truly personalized fit.

100% Handmade Excellence
Each of the products listed on escaro.in are 100% handmade. We use the original European leather handcrafting techniques to ensure excellence in each of our products. They are hand-lasted, hand sewn and hand finished for that unique final product. Since our products are made in small batches and not mass produced, each batch will have a small deviation in color and hue from the last one. This is considered and regarded as the unique character of the shoes and should not be considered a fault.
We use only A-grade Argentinian white crust full grain leather, complete with its natural imperfections, which is transformed by our master craftsmen into shoes that perform better with age.
Things to keep in mind while investing in authentic full grain leather shoes:
• Full grain leather may have imperfections such as scars, dents, wrinkles or blemishes. Such imperfections must not be considered as faults, since they add to the originality of the final product while ensuring that you have a unique pair of shoes.
• Leather footwear generally takes about one or two weeks of wear before softening and “breaking in". For finest comfort, we recommend that you wear your shoes for a couple of hours per day in the beginning and then gradually increase the duration over the next two weeks.
• In order to ensure that your leather shoes last a long time, make sure to guard them from rain, continued exposure to direct sunlight and high temperature.
