Marino Moc Chukka Boots pair the quiet depth of navy suede with the warmth of rich brown leather, creating a considered take on the classic moc-toe ankle boot. The rounded toe, clean ankle profile and sweeping forefoot seam give the silhouette an easy sophistication, while the contrasting leather brings definition to every line.
Designed in Milan, Italy, Marino is the kind of boot that works beyond a single setting. Its deep navy upper can move from dark denim to tailored trousers, while the brown leather detailing adds just enough contrast to make the design immediately recognisable.
Craftsmanship Story
Marino is built around contrast.
The deep navy upper provides a restrained foundation, while brown leather traces the moc-toe, wraps the heel and continues around the lower structure of the boot. This creates a natural visual rhythm from the front of the shoe to the back.
The raised moc seam follows the rounded toe closely, giving the forefoot a defined handcrafted character. Brass-toned eyelets and dark laces complete the upper without competing with its colour combination.

Rich brown leather outlines the forefoot and creates the defining detail of the design.

The brown heel section continues the two-tone theme and gives the rear profile a stronger visual finish.
Layered Handmade Sole
Visible layers around the sole edge add depth and emphasise the boot's crafted construction.
Brass-Toned Eyelets
Small metallic details bring warmth to the navy upper and complement the brown leather naturally.
French Sheepskin Lining

Style Guide
Navy + Denim
Pair Marino with dark indigo denim for a tonal, understated look. The brown moc-toe becomes the natural point of contrast.
With Beige or Khaki
Beige, stone and khaki trousers bring out the warmth of the brown leather while allowing the navy upper to remain prominent.
With Charcoal
For a sharper evening look, wear with charcoal trousers and a fine-gauge knit or structured jacket.
With Corduroy
Brown, olive or tobacco corduroy works particularly well with the boot's textured upper and heritage-inspired construction.
Weekend Tailoring
Try Marino with relaxed navy or grey trousers, an Oxford shirt and an unstructured jacket for a polished but uncomplicated combination.
Care Guide
The navy upper should be cared for according to its specific suede-like finish, while the contrasting smooth leather requires separate treatment.
- Remove dust with a soft suede brush.
- Brush the navy sections gently and consistently to maintain the nap.
- Keep the suede-like upper away from excessive moisture.
- Do not use conventional leather cream or wax on the navy textured panels.
- Condition the smooth brown leather sections periodically with a suitable leather conditioner.
- If the boots become wet, allow them to dry naturally away from heaters and direct sunlight.
- Use shoe trees during storage to preserve the rounded toe and overall shape.
- For significant staining or finish restoration, professional footwear care is recommended.
The Escaro Royale Difference
Marino takes a familiar boot construction and gives it a more distinctive colour language.
The design does not rely on excessive ornamentation. Its identity comes from the relationship between the navy upper, brown leather framing, moc-toe stitching and layered sole. Each detail is visible, purposeful and proportioned to the overall silhouette.
With the choice of Blake Stitched or Goodyear Welted construction, the boot can also be selected according to the wearer's preferred balance of flexibility and structure.
Made for the Modern Gentleman
Marino is made for wardrobes that move between relaxed and refined without changing footwear completely.
The navy upper makes it more interesting than a conventional brown boot, while the brown leather detailing keeps it grounded and easy to coordinate. It works particularly well with denim and textured trousers, but its clean ankle profile allows it to step comfortably into smarter settings.

Craft and Leather
The Nature of True Craftsmanship
Every creation at Escaro Royale is handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional European shoemaking techniques. From hand-lasting and hand-stitching to the final hand-finished patina, each pair is shaped with patience, precision, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
We work exclusively with A-grade Argentinian full-grain leather—a material chosen not for perfection, but for character. Its natural markings, subtle grain variations, and unique texture are preserved rather than concealed, allowing every pair to develop a rich patina that becomes more beautiful with time.
Because our shoes are crafted in small batches rather than mass produced, slight variations in colour, tone, and finish are not imperfections—they are the signature of genuine craftsmanship and a reminder that no two pairs are ever exactly alike.
Customizations
- Color. Please note that though we try our best, there can never be a 100% match.
- Finishing - shinier or duller.
- In some cases, we will be able to replace leather soles with rubber and vice-versa depending on availability.
- No returns, replacements or exchanges on customized products.
Important things to know
Every pair is unique.
Natural leather may display subtle scars, wrinkles, or grain variations. These are hallmarks of authentic full-grain leather and part of what makes each creation distinctly yours.
Made to become yours.
Like all finely crafted leather footwear, your shoes will gradually soften and adapt to the shape of your feet over the first one to two weeks of wear, delivering a fit that becomes increasingly personal with time.
Craft deserves care.
To preserve their beauty for years to come, we recommend protecting your shoes from prolonged exposure to rain, direct sunlight, and excessive heat, while using appropriate leather care products and allowing them to rest between wears.
Luxury is not found in perfection, but in authenticity. Every pair of Escaro Royale shoes is created to accompany a lifetime of journeys—and to tell a story that is entirely your own.
